It's approximately five minutes walk to a quiet beach, for those
interested in walking and natural geography, the coastal footpath
will take you to the fishing village of Porthallow and beyond and
to Gillan and St. Anthony where locals and visitors enjoy a wide
range of sailing activities. Views across the bay to Falmouth, St.
Mawes and coastline all the way to Plymouth are truly spectacular.
The farm is in an area designated of outstanding natural beauty.
Lestowder Cottage and Farmhouse are near the Helford River and (Daphne
du Maurier's) Frenchman's Creek, and twelve miles from Helston -
the town of the furry dance. |
